Raffaele Troise

Overview

After graduating with honors in Physics from the University of Naples Federico II, Raffaele began his research activity. 

He joined the INFN Institute and started collaborating with international research institutes and publishing peer-reviewed scientific articles; he also obtained a PhD in Theoretical and Applied Physics in 2011 from the University of Naples Federico II.

In 2011 he began his career as a data scientist working on the development of Artificial Intelligence models for several industrial sectors such as banking, finance, risk management, marketing, retail and energy.

He joined the Enel Group in 2014, leading several projects in AI and Analytics and thus supporting different company businesses, including Strategic Marketing in Enel Energia, Strategy and Industrial planning in Enel Holding, Insurance Risk and Network Development in Enel Grids, Analytics Innovation in Enel X Global Retail, and Performance & Monitoring in Global ICT.

During these experiences Raffaele worked on quantitative models on several issues in the energy sector, such as long-term climate scenarios and their effects on the assets, the transition of the national energy system models, the forecasting of commodity markets, the electricity demand, the maintenance and quality of the power grids, the urban anthropogenic carbon emissions, and the electrification of residentials’ energy consumption.
