Overview
Filippo Forti holds a Master’s Degree cum laude in Management Engineering from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
He started his professional career in Advicorp Plc (London, UK) where he supported the Capital Markets Team in high yield bond trading. He moved to Ernst & Young (Rome) in the role of Assistant Consultant to drive the organizational restructuring of Poste Italiane SpA. Then he joined the Italian branch of Nomura International Plc (Milan) where he supported the M&A Department in a sell-side deal involving the Italian target Buongiorno SpA ($ 209 M).
Hired by Enel Distribuzione (Rome) in 2011, he served for 6 years in the Administration Finance and Control Department. Starting from the Energy Margin Control within Enel Distribuzione he moved to South America to join Chilectra (the Distribution Operator in Santiago de Chile) and then to the Global Infrastructure and Networks Division, working on Business Development and Project Valuation. During this period he coordinated the capital allocation process for 8 different countries across Central Europe, East Europe and South America, was involved in special projects valuation and M&A deals (i.e. Eletropaulo, CELG). In 2017, he joined the Holding Innovation and Sustainability Department where he was responsible for Innovation Intelligence tools and Budget & Control activities in addition to being facilitator of the Enel Group Energy Storage Community. He joined Enel Foundation in January 2020 as Senior Researcher.
